Then I must be smoking! I ventured onto Old Navy's website and fell in love with two of their track jackets and their oxfords. The colors are incredible, and so are the prices. I despise Old Navy, with an unbridled passion, and yet I find myself trying to make excuses for at least going over there and checking these things out. ... After re-reading this, I remembered how poorly places like Old Navy fit their clothes. I doubt the shirts will fit like I want. We'll see...!
Second. Converse One Star for Target!? My Jack Purcells from this summer are about done. I can get the One Star version for half the cost and achieve the same look. What is the deal with the low-end stores making things I am coveting!!?? Either I'm insane, or I am falling victim to the new economy (or the fact that my rent is about the increase hugely in my new place), but I am thinking that Target and Old Navy will get visits from me soon. Sorry Chris Bailey.

New York Fashion Week starts today, and the NY Times has a great article about what fashion editors wear to the shows. I also think it can offer some of the guys out there some good advice in regards to what you should be buying: classic pieces that are interchangeable. One person really hits it on the head, "If you think about your closet, there are 10 things you always wear. So you pack those things, some basics to go with, and you can travel for two weeks." The same can be said for life, my friends!
